Now this was a fun one! Simon Kearney is CEO of Click2View, the content marketing agency I co-founded with him in 2010. I sold my half in 2017 but Simon and I remain great mates and colleagues and he has taken the agency to even greater heights expanding to Australia, Indonesia and, most recently, an office in Dubai.
Simon is a what I call a proper journo having started out on the agricultural beat of his hometown paper back in Tasmania. However, he quickly scaled the ranks and just before starting his entrepreneurial journey in Singapore was National Political Editor for News Corporation in Australia responsible for national affairs, political reporting and editorial across seven Sunday newspapers. His tenure culminated with the 2010 election in which he covered the downfall of former PM Kevin Rudd and exclusively interviewed incoming PM Julia Gillard (who very much enjoyed his wife’s brownies!).
Now, Simon oversees a fast-growing agency business ensuring outstanding creative and editorial standards for world class clients in finance, tech, logistics and NGOs.
